Level 3

Up Close and Personal.

You gain proficiency in Leather Armor and Shields. Your bladed weapons deal +KEY damage. The Range of all your spells is halved. You gain the Mana Strike ability.

Mana Strike.

(1/turn) When wielding a bladed weapon, you may spend one Mana to cast a Cantrip for free against your target as part of an Attack Action. Treat it as a single roll and roll your weapon and Cantrip dice together. Spells cast this way do not suffer the disadvantage for being in melee.

Level 7

Mana Siphon.

Reaction (when you are crit by an adjacent enemy or enemy spell). Gain KEY mana. This mana expires at the end of combat if unused.

Shape of the Blade.

You gain the following two additional Spellshaper abilities.

Magic Missile. (1 mana per 4 spaces) When attacking with Mana Strike, you may instead make a Ranged Attack with your weapon by throwing it. The weapon returns to your hand after the attack.

Magical Bulwark. (2+ mana) When you Defend, spend 2 mana to increase your Armor by +KEY for every 2 mana spent and make a free Mana Strike against the target.

Level 11

Blade Dance.

(1/turn) If you crit with Mana Strike or use Magical Bulwark to reduce your damage taken to 0 you may make a free Mana Strike against an adjacent enemy, ignoring the 1/turn limitation of Mana Strike.

Efficient Mana Strike.

It no longer costs mana to cast a Cantrip with Mana Strike.

Level 15

Empowered Mana Strike.

When using Mana Strike, instead of casting a Cantrip, you may instead spend the Mana and Action cost for a tiered spell you know to cast that spell at your target as part of your Attack Action. You have Advantage on your STR saves to maintain Concentration as part of this ability.
