A Herald of Steps chooses their body as their instrument of choice, Dancing around the battlefield to empower their allies. This subclass leans heavily into offensive support, further empowering Songweaver Inspiration dice at the cost of maintaining Concentration in close-quarters.
Level 3
Dance.
(1 Action, Concentration) Expend any number of Songweaver Inspiration charges to roll that many d6 and set aside. As a free reaction, remove a die from the pool and add it to the attack or save roll of an ally within Range 4, optionally considering it the primary die. If concentration is broken, all dice are lost.
Level 7
Furious Foxtrot.
You may expend two Dance dice as part of one Reaction. While Dancing, you gain +2 movement and +DEX Armor.
Level 11
Brutal Ballet.
Your Dance dice are now d8s. You may expend up to three Dance dice in one Reaction. While dancing, you gain advantage on Concentration checks.
Level 15
War Waltz.
You may expend any number of Dance dice in one Reaction.
